Greater Bank’s vibrant, multi-channel campaign used bold imagery, lifestyle storytelling, and the power of “Greater” to lift brand awareness and grow account openings.
The Challenge

Our mission was to create a campaign that not only drove new account openings but also boosted brand awareness among a younger audience. This meant showcasing Greater Bank’s full range of deposit and transaction products – think savings accounts, everyday accounts, and retirement funds. What started as a straightforward task quickly evolved into one of our biggest campaigns to date.

Our Approach

The key was leveraging the word ‘Greater’– a perfect fit with Save, Access, Be, Explore, Live, Bank! This became the foundation of our messaging, reinforcing that Greater Bank truly is greater.

Visually, we started with bold, vibrant imagery set against bright, colour-coded backgrounds, each representing a different product. A full messaging matrix was developed alongside an extensive suite of print and digital assets.

These looked great, but why stop there? To take things even further, we brought the campaign to life with movement. Partnering with Taxi Films and director Colin Renshaw, we embarked on a three-day shoot on the Gold Coast, capturing six iconic lifestyle moments – from skateboarding and bushwalking to surfing and beyond. Casting was carefully curated to reflect diversity and different life stages, while a contemporary Australian music track tied everything together.

The hero piece was the first to launch, serving as both a brand and product showcase. This was followed by six product-specific campaigns, each spanning out-of-home, social media, digital display, point-of-sale, and more.

The Results

A massive suite of assets rolled out seamlessly, bursting with colour and energy – perfectly encapsulating what Greater Bank stands for. Resulting in a campaign that not only looked fantastic, but delivered on both brand and retail objectives, all in one.
