Our well established Newcastle based Creative Agency is looking for some great new talent. We are continuing to undergo growth and wish to build on our passionate team of professionals. With an enviable list of National and Local clients along with the fact we are based right in the CBD, seconds from cafes and the beach. Out of the Square Media provides the ‘Goldilocks’ solution – big enough to deliver a full range of marketing services, yet small enough to actually care about our clients and team.

An exciting opportunity is now available for a 12-month maternity relief position commencing January 2019.

We are looking for a seasoned Studio Manager with previous agency experience, fabulous people skills, and a history of rock-solid performance under pressure.

What will you do in this role?

  • Facilitate, prioritise & communicate the workflow for creative staff and our busy internal design studio
  • Manage deadlines & prioritise conflicting creative deliverables & outcomes
  • Ensure best possible creative outcome for each task based on brief requirement, creatives capacity, & capability
  • Utilise digital project management software to ensure transparent business operation and communication. I.e. Wrike & Streamtime
  • Manage a creative team of 5 graphic designers & senior producer, including staff development and team administration
  • Monitor staff resourcing including the booking of freelancers and external suppliers as required
  • Co-ordinate and oversee studio projects, including pre-production elements to completion
  • Monitor project budgets, from quoting through to resource allocation & reporting
  • Be willing to help wherever required, be a team player and like to have a good laugh

Who are you?

  • A strong communicator with a confident, positive attitude
  • Min 5 years industry experience – agency highly regarded
  • Experience managing a high performing creative team
  • Superior time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a team-orientated personality
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe creative suite
